divine intervention

i dont know about you.. but i started not to believe in divine intervention.


I believe in God, to put it simply, I am a catholic.


Anyway, I dont think that divine intervention is what really happen when u asked something from God.
I believed that in prayer, one should just give thanks to God and ask for forgiveness, but dont ask anything from God.  


If you want something in life, go for it and dont just depend on God. U r empowered to ur own life.


But there is one thing that i cannot explain is what happen during healing mass.. a lot of happenings when people are cured and healed by the grace of God- in which i totally cant fathom.


But one thing for sure is that God is real and is not just  a fantasy..........

Hello..it has been a while since I've updated my blog.


I have been quite busy, settling down in a new place as I am having my industrial internship to meet with my university's requirement.


Let's talk a bit about Liverpool FC. Well, LFC does provide some good signs and promises this season.  I see potential in ending the trophy drought.  If players can step up their game and remain consistent, I see no problem in winning the ultimate prize, the premier league title.  Will talk more about it later.


So many series that I am following are returning, How I met your mother season 7, The simpsons season 23, Glee season 3, and House season 8.  The bad news is that I can watch any of it soon because I am away from university and I can't download it.


There are few things that is in my mind but I will spill it the next time i blog.  For now I present you a nice picture just for fun..

Top 10 movies I've ever watched (In-Depth Review)

I have been wanting to do this list for a very long time.  But i wasn't able to do it because I was not 'strong' enough to choose.  After  long  some consideration, I have managed to come out with movies that I think are the best ever that I have ever watched and should be watched by everyone.


Coincidently, each movies are the best of their respectives genre.  All the movies that I've listed were also being influenced by ratings in movie-rating websites like Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB.com

At the top spot,


Inception

Inception is a story about a person has the skill to steal people's idea by going into their dreams, but in this movie he is given the ultimate and the most complicated level of dreams-manipultion: By planting an idea into a person's mind or inception, hence the movie title.

This is without second thoughts is the best movie ever!  I have the tendency to like drama movies and this movie is a fantastic drama.  Not only that, this movie is a science fiction movie in which is my cup of tea as well.  The effects and graphic presentation in this movie is mindblowing and words alone cannot do any justice.  This movie requires high concentration and one can get mind-fucked because of the complexity of the plot.

This is the first movie that ever topple my all time favourite movie(will talk about this later), my all time favourite movie was at the summit of my personal list and it was easily replaced by Inception.  If you have not watched this movie, I will tell you that you have missed a lot in life.

The second spot is a tie between

Cast Away

and 
The Secrets In Their eyes

Cast Away was the first movie that really struck me and instilled the passion of movies in me.  Cast away is a story of a person stranded in an island after a plane crash. This movie always linked with RObinson Crusoe but it is different. The similarity is that the show is about how he survive in the island alone.  My favourite actor, Tom Hanks was top notch in this movie as this movie is also being called as a one-man movie.  90 percents of this movie is revolving around him only and there is no single moment in this movie that bored me.  The movie is very simple but heart-warmingly entertaining.  It was the best movie in my list for 10 years until Inception.  


The Secrets in their eyes was the most recent movie that I watched.  The movie is about a retired detective is trying to find a closure to an unsolved case which is 20 years ago from present time and finding closure of his un-fulfilled love story.  This movie is really nice, with a believable acting, awesome directing, good script and also with interesting twist.  This movie is so good that it went straight to number two of my list: tie with Cast Away. 






The Third spot belongs to
Lord of the Rings Trilogy

I believed almost everyone already watched this movie.  This movie is the most epic film ever.  This movie is also the only movie that is as good as the book. (not that i've read the book but that is what i've got from evryone who had read and watched the movie) 

This movie has superb storyline, effect and one can watch this movie gazillion time.  And the whole movie is approximately 11 hours long.  Epic!

The Fourth spot goes to

Forrest Gump

The movie is as good as a movie can get.  A very entertaining movie by Tom Hanks.  This movie is so good and interesting, the plot is very interesting.  Imagine when one first reading the script, he will be wondering what the hell is this movie about.. there's a story about a boy who can't walk, baseball games, war in vietnam, ping-pong, fishing shrimps, running across the country... This movie is another heart warming movie, there is nothing bad about this movie. Momma says, life is like a box of chocolate and you will never know what you're gonna get.. well this movie is one hell of a chocolate, and a good one.. no, a great one.

The fifth Spot goes to

The Godfather 1 and 2

People don't say a movie is great for nothing.  Widely regarded as the best movie ever made and the 2nd sequel is also almost universally agreed to be the best movie sequels that ever made.  This is the mafia story, a family business.. The story also revolves around Michael Corleone and the rise of him from normal son to the leader and successor of his family business.  Well, of course blood is involved.  Just watch it, a classic and a masterpiece.  It is quite long but it is worth every seconds.

The Sixth Spot belongs to

Saving Private Ryan

The best war film ever made, the first 20 minutes is so intense and real that it has become the signature of the movie and becoming pioneer in war movies or series like Band of Brothers and The Pacific.

This movie is about a soldier has 3 brothers and all of them are serving in the army too, but 3 of them all died in combat and the country has decided to bring the last surviving brother home.  Tom hanks is the soldier that is ordered to go and find the soldier and to bring him home.  This movie is so good, you will be impress with the way they shoot the war scenes and the story line are brilliant.  

The 7th spot is a tie between

Shawshank Redemption 

and

The Green Mile

Shawshank Redemption is a story about a man accused of killing his wife and he is sentenced for life in jail.  The story is about his days in the prison and how he make a good friend in the prison.  This movie are a good movie, quite interesting seeing how he survive and adapt in prison and eventually make a good friend with another prisoner.

The green mile is another story that the theme is about prison.

Tom hanks is the prison warden and this movie is about his days in invigilating the prisons and prisoners as well in carrying out dead-row to the convicted. This movie also involving element of supernatural and some unexpected events.  Quite a sad movie as we got to see how the officer is going to 'kill' the convicted every time.

The 8th spot belongs to

Schindler's list

Probably the most depressing movie i've ever watched.  This movie is about holocaust during the world war and the life of the jews in concentration camps and also ghettos.  This movie is about how a business man is trying to save as much jews as possible from being killed by the nazi.  Certainly a great movie, a very heavy stuff but worth watching.  You will see the insights of living in those days, you get to see how scary is to be a jews those days.  Quite an inspiring movie but certainly not a happy movie.

The 9th spot is a tie between

Snatch

and

Pulp Fiction

The only movies that is considered light and funny.  The movies involving a lot of twist, unparallel plot and one can have a good laugh and entertaining journey while watching these two movies.

Snatch is about..err.. alot, but it involves a lot of killing, punching, shooting, blood, blood , blood

Pulp fiction is almost similar, but funnier, and there will be blood in the movies.

The last spot goes to

The dreamers

This movie has a lot of nude scene.  Put this movie has a very unique plot that you don't really bother the nude scenes because you are concentrating on what is happening in the movie.  That is how good the movie is.  

The actors and actress in this movie are all good looking and gave a believable acting.  this movie is about an american guys befriending a french siblings, they have similar passion- good french movies.  The movie is certainly unique and good.  But if you are watching this movie just to enjoy the actress' and actors' naked body, then you are enjoying the wrong aspect of the film.

So here are the top 10 movies that is considered the best.  The list will certainly change in 5 years as good movies will always come out and I will also always found a better movies that have been done before.  Hope you enjoy my list, and the most importantly is that I hope you will watch all the movies that i have listed.  I can guareantee you that all these movies are brilliant and should be watched before you die.

7 years
